“I can wholeheartedly recommend Peter to restore and re-hang your chandelier. Peter, who lives about an hour from me in East Sussex, beautifully rewired my c.1900 gilt brass Empire style chandelier, realigning some of the bent ornament and touching in invisibly small areas of damaged gilding. He sent me a video when he had completed this stage. He then installed the plaster ceiling rose I’d ordered with his help and hung the chandelier below. It all looks very elegant and works perfectly. He was very pleasant to deal with: friendly, sensitive to the antique qualities of the chandelier, prompt and not expensive. When I do another room I’ll certainly be calling on him again.”
